Nice & Oh Merci

Today I had the pleasure of discovering a mother / daughter pair of crafters. First up we have Mary Holcomb (the mom) of Oh Merci. She has created a girly Versailles wreath that is fabulous. She also has these adorable Chicks on Parade that will deliver your Easter goodies in style. Mary's daughter, Caitlin, has an Etsy shop called Nice. She has lots of terrific vintage goods to choose from, such as the black & gold bar glasses which I love. I usually shy away from animals that have been mounted, but the faux stag mounting is just whimsical enough to make the cut. Have a look at all the cool items these crafters have assembled & check back regularly for updates.

Amy Elise Designs

Amy Elise Designs is full of wonderful handmade paper goods. I love the Easter Delights tag set that would spice up any Easter goodie basket. There's also these very pretty bird's nest tags that have blue glitter frames. I love the bright chartreuse chandelier tags, too! There are so many terrific tag designs in this shop, which makes it hard to pick just a few to feature. A couple of my favs include the bicycle tags, the fairies, and the Got the Chocolate Blues set. Have a look at all the great items Amy Elise has to offer!

Plush For Pup

According to the blog, Plush For Pup is a non-profit, friendly group of individuals with the common goal of helping abandoned baby animals and neutering/spaying adult animals to prevent this catastrophy from happening again in the following years.

If you want to help, you can donate any of the items listed on the site such as blankets & stuffed animals. Or, if you'd like, you can sponsor a snuggle puppy or kitten which is a realistic stuffed animal that breathes, coo's, and has a heartbeat. They are given to abandoned animals to help prevent seperation anxiety & are $27 each. You get to choose which design you'd like to sponsor & you'll receive a thank you note from the puppy or kitten that is using it.

There will also be an art raffle to raise funds. Submissions should be in by June 1st & raffle tickets must be purchased by June 15th. Check out the Flickr group for more info, too.

Gadgetgirl

Now, I am scared to death of real birds. But Gadgetgirl's use of birdies makes them seem near likable. Chirpy is a cute little fella featured on a fun pendant & the red bird in a cage is one of the most unique pieces of jewelry I've seen in a while. I also really like the chocolate & chrysanthemum book tote that is currently on sale. Other items you don't want to miss include the swoop snap wallet, adorable Bernard the Beaver, and the hangin' monkey tee.

Creative Babies

Creative Babies is a wonderful shop full of lovely sweaters for little ones. I love the fact that they are recycled from adult-sized sweaters that have been felted & refashioned. Check out the sale price on these cuties! And how cute are these pillows? I especially love the bright flowers. The little girly purses would make any princess so happy, myself included. Of course, the fuschia daisy bag is a perfect accent for your spring wardrobe.

And the winners are...
