Laura Evans Photography

Laura Evans is a Military wife & photographer currently stationed in Germany. Laura says she is going through am exciting time with her photography - exploring, learning & discovering! The subjects of her photographs range from light-hearted to symbolic. I love the vibrant piece titled all the colours of the rainbow and what's in a name is a beautiful subtle image. Cat lovers are sure to love the playful cat, but Puppy Dog Eyes wins my heart. Another favorite of mine is a symbol of spring and a prelude to summer...I can just about feel the breeze when looking at this image. All of Laura's images are available in a variety of sizes & can also be printed as note cards.

*GIVEAWAY - Closed - Congrats Stephanie! Laura is giving away an 8"x8" or 8"x10" Print (Winner's Choice). To enter, visit Laura's shop and leave a comment on this post noting your favorite image. Giveaway ends at Midnight EST, Sunday, April 4.

Laura's whimsical fine art photos are wonderful. I love the "fun of the fair" shots and the cameras, too. But my favorite is "cupcake, anyone...." Yes, a cupcake for me! A cupcake notecard would be a sweet way to say happy birthday.

I would want the pic from Heidelberg Castle. We used to go there every summer, sit along the river and watch the reenactment of the burning of the Castle when I was small.

There are so many wonderful photos, and I love the tone of her photography! I think my favorite would have to be either two cameras sitting on a bench of the empty bird watching chair.

Laura is so nice & amazingly talented! It's impossible to choose a favorite photograph from her shop. One of my favorites is "a childhood feeling of being free ... - whimsical fine art photography". http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=43895991 . It reminds me of the happy, carefree summer days of my childhood, when my biggest worry was how quickly I could finish dinner and get back outside to play!

Lovely blog & great contest, thank you!
