Holiday Handmade Cavalcade in NYC

WHEN: Saturday, December 14th & Sunday, December 15th, 10am-5pm
WHERE: The Space, 50 N. 3rd St. (between Kent/Wythe), Williamsburg, Brooklyn • Directions

The Handmade Cavalcade is a bi-annual craft fair in New York City organized by a group of local crafters & Etsy sellers. Joe and I were lucky enough to attend the holiday event in December 2010 & I can tell you first-hand that it is a top-notch event that showcases tons of talent! At the event, you will find everything from hand-crafted pet clothing by 46 South Designs to hand-knit necklaces by Yana Rodin. Don't forget to stock up on hand-illustrated greeting cards by Porcupine Hugs, as well! (pictured: Green Floral Denim Dog Coat by 46 South Designs)

The group is giving away a bag of goodies donated by participating vendors via the Etsy New York Facebook page. The giveaway features beautiful jewelry from Sarustar, Prairiefunk, and J. Topolski, art from Tamara Garvey, an infinity scarf from Bshorr Handmade, tea towels from Jenn Eng Studio, and more! Giveaway runs through the event on December 14th & 15th with the winner being announced on Monday, December 16th.

If you attend the event, please stop by & say hi to Lauren of Lolafalk Designs. She used to live in Texas & actually participated in our first Funky Finds Spring Fling in Fort Worth, Texas! Plus, she makes crazy cool leather handbags, satchels, travel bags & more! Definitely worth a look!!! (pictured: The Francis Wallet by Lolafalk Designs)
